The Kent County Health Department and the Kent County Department of Public Works have joined together to educate the community regarding the correct way to dispose of medicines including pet medications. Medicines that are put in drains, flushed down the toilet, or thrown in the trash can pollute the environment and/or be ingested by animals, potentially causing serious illness or death.
